🔍What will you do

• Manage various events (webinars, industry events and conferences, speaker opportunities and thought leadership, cybersecurity conferences for our Whalebone Aura customers…) from end to end, setting individual event goals, budget caps, logistics and longer-term strategy.
• Create event briefs and execution plans.
• Secure vendors for events, from researching potential partners to managing the detailed workflow of contracts in order to meet event deadlines.
• Ensure external guests have an excellent impression of Whalebone through event communications and visual designs.
• Drive cross-functional teams across Whalebone to execute and iterate on events.
• Cross-team collaboration to get assets, messaging, and giveaway items created and delivered on time.
• Manage post-event follow-ups, including gathering feedback and evaluating event success.
• Create a scalable event engine that optimizes for faster, more cost-effective event production over time.
• Community management, engaging in conversations with prospective and existing clients about our topics in our industry, products, and brand.

• Have 3+ years of experience in events management, project management, production, or other events-related fields.

• Have experience executing multi-faceted small- and large-scale events, both offline and online, on strict timelines.

• Have an interest in technology and cybersecurity.

• High-quality communication and collaboration capabilities, being a people-person and team player.

• Independence and high-level organizational skills, a self-starter and strong closer with multi-tasking ability.

• An ability to travel as required.

• Willingness to work 4 days a week from our office.

• Perfect English.

🎯Nice to have

• Bachelor’s or higher degree in marketing-, business- or communication-oriented field.

• B2B marketing experience in a related industry. (IT/tech/software/SaaS/cybersecurity)

• Previous work exposure to e.g. Hubspot. (or other marketing automation platform)

• Experience from an event agency is a plus.
