Technical Consulting Manager

We’re expanding, and we’re looking for a Technical Consulting Manager to lead and mentor our technical consulting team.

Responsibilities:

• Team Leadership:

  • Manage and mentor the technical consulting team, ensuring high performance and professional development.

  • Allocate resources and manage workflows to meet client needs and project deadlines.

• Technical Consulting:

  • Oversee Protective DNS service architecture and configuration for complex networks.

  • Lead escalated troubleshooting and collaborate with internal teams and external partners.

• Client Engagement:

  • Present Whalebone solutions to clients and partners, and occasionally travel for meetings and conferences

• Innovation & Strategy:

  • Encourage team innovation in automation, technical documentation, and product improvements.

Requirements:

• Leadership experience in a technical consulting or support role.

• Advanced Linux skills, network administration, and deep internet protocol knowledge.

• Expertise in network administration, including routing, switching, and firewalls.

• Strong communication, problem-solving.

• Security clearance as a must 

Nice-to-have:

• DNS, Docker, and cybersecurity experience is a plus.

• Data analysis/mining

• Experience with malware analysis or triaging
