Job description

Deploying and operating a country-wide DNS resolution service? If you feel like this proposition is rather exciting than scary, come on board and join us.

⭐ How are we going to achieve this?

A Whalebone-led consortium was awarded an EU-commision funded project for building a pan-european DNS infrastructure in order to improve the Internet experience and help secure EU citizens. The plan is to onboard 100 Million everyday people by offering a cloud-based environment while at the same time cooperating with local service providers in order to bring the service as close to the users as possible and ensure the best possible user experience. More information about the project can be found here.

Sounds exciting? Become a significant part of our important and ambitious project as a Senior Solution Consultant for DNS4EU.

Cybersecurity plays a crucial role in our society. And as our CTO Robert Šefr says, “Cybersecurity is a human right, not a privilege.”

🔍What will you do

  • 30% Architect and configure the DNS services of even the largest and more sophisticated country-wide networks - understand their depth, detect potential issues, project and implement the solution. You will present “DNS4EU for Governments” and how it will work for governments, public institutions and CERTs in Europe and abroad. Occasionally you will travel (approximately once a month) to partners’ premises (around Europe) ✈️

  • 30% Deploy and evaluate Proof of Concept or cooperate with our Account Executives to provide technical responses to RFPs. Identify implementation needs, suggest ideal incorporation into their topology and organize integration with other systems that they are using e.g. local Threat Intelligence sources, other network security solutions, etc. 💻

  • 10% Understand and evaluate legal requirements, propose solutions that fit them

  • 20% Troubleshoot customers’ problems and identify new product opportunities. Cooperate with our sales team, client's technical specialists, and other teams closely (developers, product owners, threat intelligence).
